31DC2014 Day 27 - Inspired By Artwork

Dots are my favorite kind of nail art, it's easy to do, doesn't take a lot of time and it always comes out looking good.

Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese pop artist who is most famous for her obsession with dots, coincidentally she is one of my favorite artist. Some say her art is shallow and repetitive but I disagree, I think she is showing us her soul, showing the world her twisted imagination, how hard it must be to have spots on your mind all the time. I think she is in an institution for people with mental illness now because she would work on her art until she collapsed - that's a strong obsession.

Here's my inspiration, she calls this pumpkin her alter-ego.

31DC2014 Day 3 - Yellow Nails

When I post like this day after day I get a little stuck with words, so I'll just skip to the manicure.
I'm quite happy with this combo, it has a spark to it I think.

31DC2013 Day 3 - Yellow Nails

Yellow is the color today.

This is a bright neon yellow but it came out like a soft pastel color which it is not, it's screaming, freaky neon yellow!! Love this color.

OMD 31 Day Challenge Day 30 - Favorite Comic Book

Having car troubles today made my day not a very happy one.

So in extreme frustration and tiredness I did my nails.

But the thing about nail art is that it's soothing, kind of therapeutic so when I finished these I felt so much better :)

On to the challenge!

Watchmen is definitely among my favorite comic books, 

though I favor manga over "western" comic books I've read my share of them.

Among my favorites are also Fables, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Marvel 1620, Preacher and Sandman.

OMD 31 Day Challenge Day 29 - Inspired by Fashion

I love dresses, if I lived somewhere that wouldn't have cold winters and weather that didn't change by the hour in summertime I would only wear dresses, I wear dresses a lot but often enough I dress for warmth and comfort. So today's theme is fashion and I decided to take inspiration from this dress by Eva Franco.

It's so cute and perfect for summer and I've drooled all over my keyboard looking at it.
