Juicy Tomatoes

After the September-challenge craziness I'm trying to set myself blogging goals and actually following them through, this is not the first time I finish a challenge and then fall into a blogging rut, don't know what to blog about and what to paint on my nails, also up until now I've only posted sporadically, whenever the mood strikes or I do a pretty manicure, but now I want to put a little more effort into it and see how that goes.

For starters I've started several inspiration books where I can write things like prompts and themes, color schemes and trying to plan ahead for Christmas, Halloween, future challenges and such or if I don't know what to do I can look into my inspiration books and find something I like and want to try.

Well we'll see how that goes.

These are juicy tomatoes, I actually don't like tomatoes that much, the texture or something, I'm not sure, doesn't go well with me but I like these I did on my nails.

31DC2014 Day 24 - Inspired By A Book

I took inspiration from the cover of the book A Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkness.
It's rather simple, black background with red smoke going over the cover.

31DC2014 Day 1 - Red Nails

This has been overwhelmingly busy summer for me and I kind of fell out of doing my nails and blogging about it, but now I'm going to try to start again and to kick start my nail painting 'mojo' I'm going to participate in a nail art challenge, I also took part in it last year and had a great time.

So the first day starts with red. I made cute little ladybugs.

31DC2013 Day 28 - Inspired by a Flag

I haven't done the Icelandic flag before, don't know why, just didn't want to, but now I have and I think it will be a long while until I do that again.

The red cross on my middle finger is smudged, I'm saving my Seche Vite because It's almost finished and I have to order it online, but my OPI RapiDry sucks so much that I used Seche Vite on my other nails.

31DC2013 Day 23 - Inspired by a Movie

When I was younger my favorite scary movie was Nightmare on Elm Street.

Freddy Krueger was the scariest by far because not only did he use a razor hand to chop people, he also manipulated peoples thoughts, he made them fear him so he would become stronger, I was terrified.

So my manicure today is inspired by Freddy Krueger.

31DC2013 Day 1 - Red Nails

I'm participating in another 31 day Challenge, this one was started by Chalkboard Nails and I think this is the third year she is doing this, gotta love her dedication!!

So here are my red nails.

I'm not absolutely in love with this one, there is something I'm not liking but can't put my finger on what it is, a friend asked me to do her nails for a wedding she is attending and this is one of my test manis, I'm going to keep the colors but change the nail art a little when I do her nails.

OMD 31 Day Challenge Day 19 - Glitter

I'm still at home with the flu, which has given me a chance to watch, for the millionth time, Friends, Family Guy, Torchwood, read Harry Potter and watch all my DVD's that have the word "Day" it the title.

My cats have been really helpful fighting over who should get to lay in my lap.

But on to the challenge.

My camera couldn't capture the red glitter goodness like I wanted it to be but it's so much darker and glittery in real life :p
