31DC2014 Day 22 - Inspired By A Song

I took inspiration from the song Goodness Gracious by Ellie Goulding, I had never heard it before but it was colorful so I had a lot of options to work with.
I picked a scene that shows in the beginning of the video and is this beach scene with white palm trees.

Polishes used:
OPI - Alpine Snow
OPI - No Room For The Blues
Sally Hansen Insta-dri - Flashy Fuchsia

And here's the video.

31DC2014 Day 21 - Inspired By A Color

Because I had my water marble "gear" on my table and some time to kill I did another water marble for this day's prompt which is inspired by a color.
As you've maybe guessed if you have followed me for some time I really like pastels and bright colors and my favorite colors at the moment are mint green and pink so I thought I would take inspiration from that and do a water marble with them.

There are two types of pink in there but as I used Acid Watermelon also as base the other one kind of blended in. These are much brighter in person, my camera could not handle this masterpiece ;)
Here are a "few" photos.

Polishes used:
L'Oreal - Acid Watermelon
Maybelline Color Show - Tropink
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Kelp Yourself

31DC2014 Day 20 - Water Marble

It's water marble day!!
I like to do water marbles, I think it's pretty fun but the thing is that it's time consuming and I suck at clean up, my cuticles always end up messy, that's the reason why I don't do them very often.

I love this color combo and I did a gradient using them back in January, you can see that Here.

Polishes used:
American Apparel - Crescent Heights
American Apparel - Peacock

I'd like to think that in this galaxy live unicorns and pink cats.

Sally Hansen - Wet Suit
Sally Hansen - Kelp Yourself

31DC2014 Day 17 - Glitter

I LOVE glitter - but I'm not a big fan of glitter nail polish, mainly because it's a pain in the ass to take them off so when I was going through my collection I didn't find many glitters and somehow I didn't want to use any of them, I decided instead to just dump loose glitter over my nail polish.

To my delight the sun came out as I was photographing.

Polishes used:
OPI - 4 In The Morning
and glitter!

31DC2014 Day 16 - Geometric

I live on a polish deprived island, polishes here are expensive and there are limited brands available, sometimes we even don't get certain collections from brands so when I saw the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Electric summer collection in stores I was like a kid in a candy store. A few weeks earlier I had asked the saleswoman if they would get this collection and she said that Sally Hansen didn't do collections just random colors once in a while so I was certain this collection wouldn't make it to Iceland because the woman behind the counter obviously didn't know what she was talking about.
But it did and I had to use them right away.
So here is my geometric manicure.
The lines aren't as crisp as I wanted them to be but it'll do.

Polishes used:
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - You're Crabby
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Kelp Yourself
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Wet Suit
Barry M Gelly - Coconut
