31DC2014 Day 23 - Inspired By A Movie

I was a little uninspired when I was looking for inspiration for this one.

One of my favorite movies it The Fall, it's really beautiful, colorful scenes and a lovely story.

When I went looking though pictures of this film on Google I came across this one.

And decided that this would be my inspiration.

I'm not extremely happy with how this turned out, I used a lighter red and a darker red to give the design more depth but that got totally lost on the pics.

31DC2014 Day 1 - Red Nails

This has been overwhelmingly busy summer for me and I kind of fell out of doing my nails and blogging about it, but now I'm going to try to start again and to kick start my nail painting 'mojo' I'm going to participate in a nail art challenge, I also took part in it last year and had a great time.

So the first day starts with red. I made cute little ladybugs.
