31DC2013 Day 5 - Blue Nails and I'm now on twitter :)

I decided it was time for me to get a Twitter account for my blog, Colorful Cupcake Cat on Twitter, will you be my follower?? Follower sounds so weird, I immediately think of followers who worship something weird like a piece of cloth some saint sneezed in, or aliens who will come
and get us only when a meteor gets close enough to earth.
My only other social media site is Facebook, here is a link: Colorful Cupcake Cat's Facebook page which you all are more that welcome to go to and like ;) I wanted to start slow with only the blog and Facebook page and see how that would evolve, maybe no one wanted to read my blog so why set up all these different accounts if I had no audience. I was also afraid that I would just give up one day, but I haven't yet :)

Do today's theme is blue.
I decided to do something simple today.

Polishes used:
OPI - No Room For The Blues
China Glaze - Dorothy Who?

I hope you go and like my Facebook and Twitter pages if you haven't already :) I think I have to install some social media buttons, if I ever get through understanding how that is done ;)

OMD 31 Day Challenge - Day 6 - Neon

So I colored my hair yesterday, It was blonde/white with orange tips, now it's blond/white with blue tips :)
I love changing my hair color, it's like going on an adventure, it could go horribly wrong or
it could come out amazing and then you have this sense of change, of newness even though
nothing in particular has changed.
And if it goes wrong your hair will grow out or it can be colored again.

Okay so on to the OMD 31 Day Challenge Giveaway!
It's day 6 and today's theme is Neon.

Polishes used:
Alessandro - Yummy Yellow
China Glaze - I'm With The Lifeguard
Essie - Peach Daiquiri

Yummy Yellow is a CRAZY neon yellow creme color, it took 2 medium thick coats to get it opaque and the consistency was fine, had no problems with it. The only thing weird is that in the bottle it looks like the yellow and the white have seperated but when I applied it on the nails it was fine.

So hope you all enjoy your Saturday and have a happy weekend.

I've Got Nail Mail - A Few Months Ago

A few months ago I went on a internet hunt for a place that ships polishes to Iceland.
I was looking for the brands that everyone is talking about but aren't sold in Iceland, such as China Glaze, Orly, Seche, Zoya, Color Club, Misa and Essie.

After much google-ing and youtube-ing I finally decided to order from transdesign.com.
After many agonizing days where I was sure it had lost its way to me the package finally came with everything I ordered and no broken bottles.
This is the best mail there is!!

China Glaze - Dorothy Who?  Tardis blue and the name, Coincidence or what!!  As a Doctor Who fan I had to get it. This is probably one of my favorite polishes ever!!
Seche Vite - Fast Drying Top Coat So many people claim this is a miracle worker so after too many waking hours waiting for the polish to dry I had to try this and you know what? It IS pure awesomeness!!
Orly - Cupcakes and Unicorns This one I bought purely because it looked so unique, like nothing I have ever come across. Its cute and bubbly :)
Orly - Devil May Care After looking through some swatches on Pinterest I immediately wanted it.

CND Effects - Crimson Sparkle Beautiful reddish-copper sparkle effect which changes any mani into gorgeous sparkle fest.
Misa - Blame It On Fat Tuesday As I looked though my stash I realized I didn't own any decent green creme polish, so this went to the basket.
Color Club - Harp On It Almost everyone who is into nail polish and has surfed the blogosphere knows about the Color Club Holos so of course I HAD to get one! And the internet didn't lie, it is gorgeous!
Barielle - Gelt Me To The Party The odd one out... I'm not sure why I picked this one, this is not like the colors I usually go for but none the less it's pretty nice.

I got my second order from transdesign today and will be doing another post on the goodies I got. I just wanted to do a post on my first package before I show you the other one.

I purchased these with my own money.

Have you ever ordered from transdesign.com?
Where do you order from?
